Shipping & Returns Policy

SHIPPING RATES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE. (SHIPPING ACCOUNTS ARE CURRENTLY BEING NEGOTIATED TO GET YOU THE VERY BEST DEAL POSSIBLE!)  THEREFORE, SHIPPING MUST BE CALCULATED AND ADDED TO YOUR PURCHASE MANUALLY.  Front Door/curbside delivery charges can range anywhere from $35-$400 depending on your order and the part of the country you live in. White Glove Service is available with some companies and may be specifically requested by the customer. White Glove Service increases both the delivery time & fee. (See "Shipping & Returns" Page found in the footer menu prior to any purchases.)

PLEASE CONTACT ME at (910)467-3050 as soon as possible for a quote (leave a message with your address and phone number).  I will put a temporary hold on the item you want & contact you within 2 hours of receiving your information with a quote Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30 PM (unless the shipping company/quote is unavailable, in that case I will contact you to let you know that I am awaiting your information within 2 hours). After hours and on weekends I will obtain a quote as quickly as possible depending on the shipping companies' availability. The temporary hold on items is only until you receive your shipping quote and decide if the entire purchase price fits your budget.

Be sure to measure your space carefully before you order large and/or heavy furniture/items, especially if going up flights of stairs, elevators (including doorways, etc.) The shipping company is contracted to deliver the item(s) TO the specified address and nowhere else.




Please message me for an exact shipping quote.  Be sure to include: (1) your zip code, (2) whether your address is a business or residence, and (3) a phone number and best time to contact you regarding shipping options.

DELIVERIES WITHIN 200 MILES: For those who live within 200 miles of us (zip code 28584) we will provide a front-step delivery quote at a greatly discounted price (generally in the $35-$125 range with the exception of especially large or heavy items). The delivery fee will be given in writing.

LOCAL PICK UP: Local pick up is free and items are located in Cedar Point, North Carolina, unless stated otherwise (i.e. Featured Artists). Due to limited space any item(s) purchased but not picked up within thirty (30) days will be deemed abandoned and forfeited. An additional thirty (30) days may be allowed under special circumstances if submitted in writing, within ten (10) days of purchase. Additional charges may apply.

SHIPPING AVAILABLE WITHIN THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES ONLY AT THIS TIME:  At this time shipping accounts are being negotiated.  Unless expressly stated otherwise I will obtain a bid to ship your item(s).  Charges are based on size and location and most furniture shipping fees will be in the $200 - $400 range (depending on location and delivery preference). 

I use the major shipping companies due to the need for reliability and accountability. I will use any other preferred/requested shipping method PROVIDED THE CUSTOMER PAYS SAID COMPANY DIRECTLY AND MAKES ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS. 

Uptown Boutique by Liz is not responsible for any in-transit damage.  This is the responsibility of the shipping company (and why I prefer to use established, reputable companies); therefore, I highly recommend obtaining adequate insurance from the shipping company. I will maintain photo documentation of each piece prior to shipping for up to thirty (30) days after delivery. Please inspect the piece carefully IMMEDIATELY upon arrival and BEFORE signing off on the delivery. Note any damage and submit a claim to the shipping company immediately. Otherwise you will not be able to file a claim for compensation. I will do what I can to assist you during the process.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES:  Send me your information before making any large item purchases. However, shipping may not be offered at this time.



  • All Sales are final. There are no refunds after 24 hours of purchase. If cancelled within 24 hours there is a 15% processing and restocking fee (barring shipment of the wrong item). Please request additional pictures and/or ask any questions you may have prior to purchase so you may feel comfortable with your purchase.
  • Deals negotiated/allowed by or between any Featured Artist will not be deemed to nullify the terms set out herein to any effect or degree. All transactions between you and a Featured Artist are considered separate.
  • Due to the fact that nearly all our furniture is either vintage or antique please expect some signs of age and character - older furniture will be quality furniture, but it will not be perfect. Substantial irregularities will be noted in the furniture description and will not be deemed reason for return.
  • Colors may vary from what you see on your phone or computer screen due to lighting, monitor settings, and other variables. I will include a brief description of the color with each piece (i.e. Pure White vs Antique (Creamy) White. Again, I am open to any questions you may have regarding an item you're interested in purchasing. Call if you have any questions.
