This lovely golden mahogany empire dresser from 1902 is more sound than many pieces I’ve seen from box stores in the last 20 years! Its graceful curves and wood grain that has so much depth are complimented by an antique white & tan painted and hand rubbed wax fine furniture finish. Beautiful enough for a Hampton Estate but humble enough for a country or beach cottage this fine piece of history is a true treasure. Anyone familiar with the Knapp & half-Knapp joinery knows this dresser still stands true and square. No need to worry about it falling apart like some modern furniture we won’t name.
Issues: half/crescent stain in top finish (this can be refinished but it’s been suggested I don’t)
Shipping: To be determined. Delivery in some areas available. Please contact me for details.
